How the model works
The simulation engine, the house model, shading and summer comfort, thermal mass, weather, ventilation, the energy management system, and the assumptions and limits behind every run. Start with the simulation engine.
Heating and cooling
Heat pump efficiency (COP and SCOP, EER and SEER), floor heating and radiators, the backup heater, floor cooling and hot water. Start with COP and SCOP.
Solar, batteries and tariffs
PV size and roof directions, home battery limits, self-consumption, and what an energy management system changes. Start with PV size and roof directions.
