Features
EV charging and modeled V2H
The model can represent a vehicle's home availability, driving energy, charging and, for a V2H configuration, energy returned to the house. This is a modeled operating pattern, not a vehicle compatibility check.
What affects the result
- Driving energy and the times the car is away from home.
- Battery size, charging power, departure state-of-charge requirement and charger losses where configured.
- A modeled annual V2H discharge limit. The default limit is an assumption and does not establish a manufacturer's warranty term.
The EV configuration is only as representative as its schedule and equipment assumptions. Check the actual vehicle and bidirectional charger manufacturer's current compatibility information.
Outputs, example and package
Inspect EV charging, driving energy, modeled V2H energy, state of charge and household grid flows. An illustrative comparison could keep the driving schedule fixed and compare otherwise identical scenarios with V2H on and off. It is not an automatic paired run and this page publishes no savings figure. EV and V2H are included in both paid plans. Full Project includes side-by-side comparison and hourly CSV export. See pricing for what each plan includes.
Compare with a baseline
To estimate the effect of V2H, compare otherwise identical scenarios with and without bidirectional operation. Keep driving, weather, household loads and tariff fixed. Do not treat the modeled energy shift as a guaranteed saving or battery-life result.
